sday’s Performance Tip: Don’t Drag Your Feet
Dragging is the opposite of rushing. They areĀ equally boring. If you perform at supersonic speed, you will leave your audience wondering what the heck you are doing. Your performance will be a blur.
On the other hand, a snail-pace performance can put people to sleep.
Get to the magic part with just enough preamble and build-up. Don’t draw out your performance with long introduction or background information. No audience will wait to be amazed if you plan your performance to last until the Second Coming of Christ.
Stay magical,
Leodini
