sday’s Performance Tip: Keep a Leisurely Performance Speed

Don’t rush. Learn to use theatrical pauses. You are not a track-and-field runner, and magic is not a one-hundred-meter dash.
Perform at a speed that allows the audience to comprehend what’s going on. An over-speeding performance of, say, a coin jumping here and there, disappearing and then reappearing at supersonic speed will only blur the effect and make it difficult for spectators to appreciate the magic.
