Jerry Andrus’s Optical Illusion Box

The Linking Ring published Jerry Andrus’s optical illusion box a few years ago. I spent several minutes marvelling at it and trying to figure the illusion out. It was fun doing that. Over the years I have been doing that to amuse myself.
Now, the illusion is on YouTube. It’s even better on video than in print. And more amazing, too. The moment Jerry steps out of the box, the wooden bar dissolves through his body and heals itself right away.

I remember Criss Angel exposing this trick on Season 1 of Mindfreak. That old rockstar wannabe.
Good thing I missed Season 1. Actually, I missed all Mindfreak episodes.

The Jerry Andrus optical illusion is really great. It is good to watch it all over again and I am fooled all over again! What a wonderful illusion!
